In conclusion, Kincaid's Fish, Chop & Steakhouse stands as a gem in the Twin Cities dining scene. With exquisite dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service, it's a gourmet destination that likely will leave you planning your next visit before you even finish your meal. Come for the food, stay for the experience!

Kincaid's is on the first floor of an office building, not don't let that be a turn off, it's cozy and tucked in nicely. Nice lighting, quiet and classically decorated. At first there must have been a snafu with who our assigned waitstaff would be, but as soon as we mentioned it to the hostess we were given 5 star service!! First of all they congratulated us on our anniversary as soon as we checked in. Then when they found about our wait to have a waiter come talk to us we were assigned a waitress, Emma, instantly who helped us cheerfully and wonderfully the rest of the night. The restaurant manager, Sam, check in on us right away, too and said our wine would be complementary due to the mix up, how lovely! The rest of the evening was fantastic! We got a GREAT wine recommendation after a couple samples from Emma, then we have tasty oysters. I enjoyed a yummy blue cheese salad and my husband loved his romaine salad. We also enjoyed our entrees, which we couldn't finish! I ordered a rare filet mignon and he ordered a rare ribeye, both were cooked perfectly! We both had steakhouse compound butter, shared a side of roasted mushrooms and mac n cheese, yum yum brought home leftovers! For our anniversary, Kincaid's treated us to a creme brûlée which was delicious! Excellent evening! We will be back for sure!

Not only is the seafood here amazing and fresh, my favorite Pea Salad is back on the menu! I ordered the Grilled Seafood Trio, a lovely combo of scallops, shrimp, and salmon with a nice char and tender, moist insides. I appreciated that I could order the salmon mid-rare and it was perfect. That Pea Salad has been something I've daydreamed about. Bursting with fresh spring peas and lightly dressed, the texture and flavors are meant to be savored. Crispy bacon lardons and sliced grape tomatoes add the umami. I hope it stays on the menu because it's the perfect summer salad.

Kincaid has a great atmosphere, good food, and great service. If you're looking for a comfortable, upscale meal, this is a solid choice. FOOD: very good. The filet was just what I expected. Portions were filling. SERVICE: top notch. Very friendly, accommodating, and considerate. AMBIANCE: very upscale and comfortable. Great location too with the big windows and non-box shaped room (it's got some zig zag to it). I thought it felt very home-y yet upscale which is a nice balance for a fancy dinner. PARKING: easy, free, and in the building I'd recommend Kincaid for someone looking for a fancy dinner, entertaining guests, or for a successful business meal. It's comfortable, checks the boxes, and excels in several regards.

Kincaid's is a twin cities og / dining institution at this point. A few things I always appreciate: top notch service, expansive menu, and great energy. Highly recommend for a grown up date night, catch up work your parents, and when you need an elevated dining experience but have less adventurous companions. Definitely make a reservation if you can - Kincaids has a strong local following - as they should!

Classy ambiance, great service and delicious classic American food. A perfect location for our team of 8 to take our boss out for lunch and wish him a happy retirement. It was a unique location at the bottom floor of a high rise office building in Bloomington. But the ramp parking was extremely convenient and just a few steps and stairs from the restaurant. As we walked in, I immediately appreciated the plentiful sunshine, relaxing water features and landscaped rocks and plants adorning the seating area. The service was excellent - our server was attentive, friendly and constantly filled our drinks. Everything on the menu sounded delicious so it was hard to choose. I LOVED my prime rib sandwich. The meat was so tender, juicy and flavorful. The bread was toasted perfectly and the side of fries was nicely seasoned. 3 others at our table ordered salads, 2 ordered fish and chips and 1 ordered coconut shrimp. The salad peeps were happy with their choices. The fish and chips looked delicious so I'll try it next time we come here. And the one who ordered coconut shrimp said it was yummy but only slightly better than the ones she buys frozen at Trader Joe's. We had a great time today and we all plan to come back again soon.

beautiful ambiance, delicious food awesome staff. My favorite was the brie appetizer. I love the selections of mock-tails.

The restaurant felt a bit outdated but in a good way. Old money type of vibe. The service was great! My boyfriend and I ordered their cocktails... the old fashion was super strong - Still a good cocktail though. I ordered the grilled seafood trio which tasted excellent. I don't say that a lot. The shrimp was juicy and they were huge. My boyfriend ordered the sirloin steak & he said it was cooked perfectly. Dont forget to try a shareable. We ordered a platter with shrimp, steak bites & the roasted crab & artichoke dip -- it did not disappoint. Overall, we had a great date night out and we will be back!

I visited Kincaids with my wife on a recent date night. We came in on the first Saturday of 2023 so fitting this will be my first official review of 2023. Setting: The restaurant is in a unique place, the Willis Tower in Bloomington. Since this area is more business park, it was hard to find at first but look for the Tower and the parking garage and you will see a sign that will point you in the right direction. Upon getting into the restaurant, we were greeted with what best I can describe as Rainforest Cafe for adults. Think dark woods and live plants and waterfall scattered throughout a modern seating atmosphere. the sound of trickling water and green plant was inviting and relaxful on a cold winter night. It reminded me of what Woolleys Steakhouse looked like in the Embassy Suites in Bloomington before they did a reconfiguration of that space. The setting that they are aiming for is upscale supper club with a picture of ages coming out to dine. Service: The service here is professional and friendly. Most staff are dressed in black and white and it reminds me of an upscale eatery that you would find in downtown Minneapolis. This restaurant is part of the Landry's restaurant family and so if you have status with them you can earn points and utilize gift cards and special promos at certain times. Food: the menu was reminiscent of a classic Steakhouse with an assortment of surf and turf options. We decided to skip a cocktail and instead share an appetizer and did the crab and artichoke dip. The dip reminded me of something you would find served in the 1960s or '70s for New Year's Eve, full of crab and mayo with bits of artichoke, garlic, and onion. It was a good way to start the night as well as the complimentary table bread just added to our carb intake. I decided to go with a classic staple, the fish and chips while my wife tried their almond encrusted scallops. The scallop dish came with decent sized scallops on a plate of really tasty garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. The scallop texture was a tad rubbery but that was more due to the deep fry than any issue with cooking. My fish was lightly battered and flaky and served with a really tasty homemade tartar sauce. Final Verdict: A good option for date nights, especially if you are part of the Landry's loyalty program. It saves you the drive into downtown Minneapolis for a good surf and turf restaurant and you also can switch it up from Rainforest Cafe or Bubba Gumps if you're feeling like something more upscale to use your Laundry points on.
